The front of the vehicle has an expertly designed flat floor allowing you to swap between driver and passenger position with ease. Side Access - Designed for both independent wheelchair drivers and upfront wheelchair passengers, the Ford WAV gives you total flexibility and choice. For independent drivers, we offer a fully automatic side sliding door and for upfront passengers, you can choose a more economical manual option. The side sliding door and ramp allows you to access the vehicle from the curb or easily from a disabled parking space. Ramp Options - Many side entry ramps can be extremely long and steep and cause issues with parking. This conversion is specifically designed with the shortest ramp possible which has an angle below 11 degrees. The ramp is designed with an anti-slip coating, improving wheel traction in wet weather. The interior floor of the vehicle is also designed with an anti-slip material. Automated Ramp For independent drivers, the automated ramp is just 70cm long, and works alongside the lowering air suspension and automatic side sliding door. Manual Ramp For upfront passengers, the manual ramp is just 1.1m long and is a more economical option should you not require lowering suspension and automatic side sliding door. Lowering Air Suspension (option) The benefit of the lowering suspension is that the vehicle has a pre-set ground clearance and will always maintain constant ride height, regardless of the number of people or equipment carried in the vehicle. It also allows a very short ramp to avoid issues when parking. The 4-corner suspension lowers the vehicle when you enter and exit and when you are ready to drive away the suspension will rise to ride height. Original Rear OEM Seats and Boot Space Enjoy the comfort of two original manufacturer rear seats, which can be folded down to give you additional space for equipment. A fold-away step can also be fitted in the rear for additional leg comfort. A spacious boot which hasnt been modified offers more than ample space. For ease of use or if travelling independently we can fit an optional automated tailgate.
