A convertible, as you likely already know, is a passenger car that can be driven with or without a roof in place. Convertibles are usually pricier than the everyday hardtop car due to the fact that they tend to be sportier and because of the extra mechanics that allow the roof to become retractable (in some convertibles).

Even with the lack of sunshine in Ireland, convertibles have always been, and likely always will be, highly desirable cars for which there is a strong demand. The best time to buy a convertible is spring, essentially just before summer as prices will increase due to the seasonal appeal of a car with no roof.

So, we’ve put together a small list of the best convertibles to help you choose your ideal car before the summer arrives.
